Terms of Service
Last updated: April 16, 2026
Welcome to Watts. These terms describe how you can use our service and what you can expect from us. We have done our best to keep them readable. If anything is unclear, write to us at [email protected].
1. Acceptance of the terms
By creating a Watts account, starting a free trial, or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Watts. If you are using Watts on behalf of an organization or another person, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.
2. Who we are
Watts is built and operated by Monocraft Labs, a company based in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. You can reach us at [email protected] for any question about these terms, your account, or your data.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Watts. By creating an account you confirm that you are 16 or older and that you have the legal capacity to accept these terms. If you are a minor in your country and the local age of digital consent is higher than 16, please respect that local rule before signing up.
4. Account registration
You will need an account to use Watts. Please use one account per person, keep your login credentials safe, and do not share them with anyone else. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect that someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us right away so we can help secure it.
5. Subscription and billing
Watts is a paid subscription. The current plans are:
- Monthly: USD 24.99 per month
- Annual: USD 249 per year
Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe once payments are enabled, and you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method on file.
We may change pricing in the future. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days of advance notice by email or inside the product, and the new price will apply to your next renewal after that notice period. You can always cancel before the new price takes effect.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. After you cancel, your subscription will not renew, but you keep access to Watts until the end of the period you already paid for.
We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused days inside a paid period. If your local consumer protection law gives you a right to a refund (for example, the Código de Defesa do Consumidor in Brazil, or the cooling-off rules in some other countries), we will honor that right. If you think this applies to you, write to [email protected] and we will sort it out.
7. Free trial terms
The free trial lasts 7 days and is limited to one trial per account or per person. Once payments are enabled, we will ask for a payment method when you start the trial, but we will not charge it until the trial ends. You can cancel any time during the trial and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial at the price displayed when you signed up.
8. Device integrations
Watts can connect to third-party platforms like Strava, Garmin, and WHOOP using OAuth. When you connect one of these accounts, you authorize Watts to receive your activity, workout, and recovery data from that provider so we can build your training picture.
- You can disconnect any provider at any time from your account settings.
- We store the access tokens we receive from these providers using industry-standard security practices.
- Each provider has its own terms and privacy policy that govern how they share data with us.
- If a provider changes its API or restricts our access, some Watts features may degrade or stop working until we adapt.
9. AI coaching and disclaimers
Watts includes three AI coach personas: Marco for endurance, Lucas for strength, and Ana for nutrition. They are powered by large language models and grounded in established training-science principles, but they are still software, not licensed professionals.
- The coaches give training and lifestyle guidance. They do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Outputs from large language models can be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong. Use your judgment.
- You are responsible for your own training decisions, including how hard you push, how much you rest, and what you eat.
- Watts is not a substitute for a qualified physician, sports physiologist, registered dietitian, physiotherapist, or licensed coach.
- Talk to a doctor before starting a new training program, especially if you have a medical condition, if you are recovering from an injury, if you are pregnant, or if you have any concern about your health.
If something hurts, stop. If something feels wrong, get it checked. The coaches will be there when you come back.
10. Acceptable use
To keep Watts safe and useful for everyone, you agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source code or model weights behind the service.
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from Watts in bulk.
- Submit content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Try to access another user's account, data, or memory.
- Use Watts to provide paid coaching services to other people without a separate written agreement with us.
- Interfere with the operation of the service, probe for vulnerabilities, or bypass any security measure.
11. User content and data
You own your training data and the messages you send to the coaches. By using Watts, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and analyze that data for the sole purpose of operating and improving the service for you. This includes building chat memory and weekly summaries that help the coaches stay useful over time.
We may use anonymized and aggregated data (data that no longer identifies you) to improve our models, evaluate the product, and publish insights. We will never sell your personal data.
12. Intellectual property
The Watts name, logo, software, designs, prompts, model configurations, training plans we generate as templates, and the content we publish all belong to Monocraft Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms gives you any right to use our brand or our software outside of the normal use of the service.
13. Termination
You can stop using Watts and close your account at any time. We can also terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms, if your use of the service threatens its security or other users, or if we are required to do so by law.
Before we permanently delete your data, we will give you the chance to export it. If we terminate your account because of a serious breach, we may not be able to offer that export, but we will always act in good faith.
14. Disclaimers
Watts is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to keep it reliable, accurate, and safe, but we cannot promise that it will always be free of errors, bugs, or downtime, and we cannot guarantee any specific training outcome. Beyond what applicable law requires us to provide, we do not make any other warranty, express or implied.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim related to Watts is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, except where that limitation is not allowed by your local law (for example, in cases of willful misconduct or where consumer protection rules give you broader rights).
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The forum for any dispute is the courts of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. If you live in a country whose consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or under your local law, that right is preserved and these terms do not take it away.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give you at least 30 days of advance notice by email or inside the product before it takes effect. If you keep using Watts after the change is in force, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and close your account.
18. Contact
Questions about these terms, your subscription, or anything else? Write to us at [email protected]. A real human will read it.
